FAQs
Absolutely! We're intimately familiar with network replication within Unreal Engine, and we're happy to take on large and small scale multiplayer projects.
Yes, however, we recommend against the over-use of these sorts of packs. Especially the programming-heavy ones. One or two to fill a systems gap is fine, but we do not take on projects whose systems consist entirely of marketplace packs as they become extremely time consuming to scale and yield poor results.
We typically divide large projects into stages:
Prototype, Alpha (optional), Beta, and Release.
The prototype is an early proof of concept, allowing quick iteration
to find the fun and work out any kinks in the gameplay loop. An optional
alpha stage focused on fleshing out core mechanics can be a great tool for
acquiring publisher or crowdsource funding. At the beta phase, things start
to take shape, and we have something worthy of public playtests, which will
bring us all the way to release.
Yes! Some of our clients have found one-on-one tutoring sessions helpful. We also have experience creating in-editor and video tutorials to help document complex processes or teach new skills. Let us know how we can help!
